Three Arrested for Selling Ganja Near Somanur Bus Stop

In Coimbatore, three individuals were arrested near the Somanur Bus Stop for selling ganja following a tip-off received by Karumathampatti Police Station. A total of over 6 kilograms of ganja was seized.


Coimbatore: Following a confidential tip, Karumathampatti Police launched an operation near the Somanur Bus Stop today, leading to the arrest of three individuals involved in ganja trafficking. The suspects, identified as Gopi, son of Kannaiyan from Tirupur district, Shakthivel, son of Kumar, and Maharajan, son of Murugan, were found selling ganja.

The police conducted a raid and apprehended the individuals. During the arrest, officers seized 6 kilograms and 300 grams of ganja from their possession. The accused were subsequently taken to court and remanded in judicial custody.
