DMK members, dressed as former CM Karunanidhi, distributed educational scholarships to top students in Coimbatore at Mariamman Temple grounds during Chithirai Festival.
Coimbatore: In a unique event held at the Arulmigu Mariamman Temple grounds in Seeranaickenpalayam on May 10, DMK members celebrated the Chithirai festival by distributing educational scholarships. Dressed as the late Muthamil Arignar Kalaignar (Karunanidhi), they honored the achievements of students in Pappanaickenpudur, Coimbatore district.

The 75th ward of DMK in Coimbatore organized a multi-faceted event for students, where the top three performers of the class 12 public exams were awarded scholarships.

DMK City District Secretary Na. Karthik, ex-MLA, personally attended the event to distribute the scholarships.

The event also saw the participation of various DMK leaders and cadres, who donned garbs representing multiple significant figures in Tamil Nadu's political arena, enhancing the festivity's vibrancy and commitment to education.
