Coimbatore: The Plus 1 public exam results were announced this morning, revealing that Coimbatore district has achieved the highest pass rate in Tamil Nadu. Out of the 8,11,172 students who appeared for the exams across the state, 7,39,539 students have successfully passed, marking a pass rate of 91.17%.
Boys and girls showed different success rates, with 87.26% of boys and 94.69% of girls passing the exam, showcasing higher achievement among female students.
Following Coimbatore's lead in pass rates are Erode with 95.56%, Tirupur with 95.23%, Virudhunagar with 95.06%, Ariyalur with 94.96%, Perambalur with 94.82%, Sivagangai with 94.57%, Trichy with 94.00%, Kanyakumari with 93.96%, and Thoothukudi with 93.86%.
Furthermore, headteachers of all the higher secondary schools were able to download the mark sheets for their respective schools from the official website www.dge.tn.gov.in starting at 10:00 AM today, using their previously provided school IDs and passwords.
Director of Government Examinations Sethurama Varma has informed that chief educational officers can download their district's examination results and analysis reports using the same identifiers from 10:00 AM today.
