Public allege tourist company owner of absconding with their money.

A private tourist company called 'Sivan Padai' was run by Joseph alias Sivaruthiran in Gandhipuram. Joseph's tourist company has offered that they would take people on a pilgrimage trip to North India including Gaya, Haridwar, Kasi and Rishikesh at a nominal price.

Close to 2000 people from nearby places including Tiruppur, Pollachi, Erode and from the city have paid Rs. 3000-5000 for the trip.

The devotees who were awaiting for the pilgrimage trip were shell-shocked as they were unable to establish contact with Joseph for the past two days. They have alleged that Joseph has absconded with their money.

In this regard, a complaint was filed by them today to the Commissioner of Police to trace Joseph and ensure safety of their money.
