Special Weekly Trains between Mangalore and Coimbatore for Summer Vacation

To accommodate the summer vacation rush, Salem Railway Division announces special weekly trains between Mangalore and Coimbatore from May 18 to June 29.

In light of the summer holiday season, the Salem Railway Division has announced the operation of special weekly trains between Mangalore and Coimbatore starting May 18 through June 29. According to the press release issued on May 15, the special service aims to manage the increased travel demand during the vacation period.




Train number 06041 will depart from Mangalore every Saturday at 9:30 AM and is scheduled to arrive in Coimbatore at 6:15 PM the same day. In the reverse route, Train number 06042 will leave Coimbatore at 10:15 PM on Saturdays and reach Mangalore by 6:55 AM the next morning.




These trains will make stops at several stations including Kasaragod, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, and Podanur, providing travelers with multiple boarding options across the region.
