The celebration was marked by a special event where milk porridge sweetened with jaggery was distributed to the public.
The event, organized in front of the Udumalpet Central Bus Station, saw the participation of the district secretary of Tamil Puligal Party from Tirupur, Thirupathi, who led the proceedings. The leader of the Buddha Dhamma Knowledge Temple, Vijayakanth, and Sivagami Velan were prominently present, overseeing the distribution.
