'Kids Ask Science' event facilitates kids to interact with top scientists and experts.

Why is the earth round? Are stars really blinking? why do astronauts float in the space instead of walking steadily like us? Why is it so quiet out there in space? Is your kid throwing such questions to you and making you feel puzzled...? then probably you should  take your kids to the Kids Ask Science event organised by Mango Education.

The event starts on 9th April between 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Indian Chamber of Commerce Hall on Avinashi road.

'As, Today's Students could be Tomorrow's Scientists, this event provides a great opportunity for the kids to interact with scientists and researchers from the field of astronomy', say the organizers.

Speaking on this Obuli Chandran from Mango Education shares with us the insights of the event, 'This is the first time we have organized such a community event 'Kids Ask Science'. Eminent people from the astronomy field will share their journey in this field by citing some interesting stories about their childhood, which inspired them to choose astronomy as their career.

In the interactive session, kids will be allowed to raise questions on space and astronomy to the scientists, who will give them crisp and lucid answers. The session aims to kindle the thoughts amongst the children and inspire them to explore the field of astronomy as they grow'.

Speakers for the session are:

Mr. Atul Jain, Scientist In-Charge, Cosmic Ray Laboratory

Dr. Vijayaraghavan Vishwanathan, Former Scientist at CERN, Co-Founder & CEO, Tiino Techmations Pvt Ltd

Mrs. Shubashree Desikan, Senior Assistant Editor/Science Writer, The Hindu

Mr. Rohan M Ganpathy, Founder & Director, Bellatrix Aerospace

Obuli also shares that kids of age 10 and above can participate with their parents and entry to this event is absolutely free, however prior registration is mandatory.
