Coimbatore: In response to the demands from the residents of Vilamarathur-Pillur, which falls under the Karamadai Panchayat Union and Nellithurai Panchayat, a new tar road project is being initiated. On May 26, Mettupalayam MLA AK Selvaraj inspected a site earmarked for this development, spanning approximately 9 kilometers.
The inspection underscores the Tamil Nadu Government's attention toward improving road infrastructure in this segment, along with oversight from the district administration. Accompanied by Union Council Secretary Jeevanantham, Panchayat Vice President Murugan, Pillur Palanisamy, and Satheesh Balaji, MLA Selvaraj's visit aims to expedite the governmental review and facilitate the necessary administrative approvals for the project.
