Karpagam University Secures Second Place in State-Level Volleyball Tournament

Karpagam University clinched second place in the 27th State-Level Volleyball Tournament held at P K Palayam, Erode on May 24-25, 2024. Teams from various districts participated.



Coimbatore: The 27th annual State-Level Volleyball Tournament was conducted on May 24 and 25, 2024 in P K Palayam, Erode District. The high-energy event saw multiple college and club teams from across Tamil Nadu competing fiercely. The knock-out rounds were intense, with the Karpagam University team defeating the Tirupur team in the semifinals with a score of 3-1. However, in a close final match, Karpagam University was narrowly defeated by VK Group Coimbatore with a set score of 3-2, thereby securing the second position in this prestigious tournament.



Following the tournament, Karpagam University’s Vice Chancellor Venkatachalapathy, Registrar Ravi, and the Director of Physical Education Dept, Sudhakar, extended their congratulations to the players for their remarkable performance.
