Coimbatore: The much-anticipated 20th edition of the 'INTEC-2024' international engineering and machinery expo, organized by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), is set to take place from June 6th to June 10th at the CODISSIA trade fair complex near Avinashi Road.
CODISSIA President Sivagnanam and Expo Chairman Ramachandran unveiled the expo logo today (May 30, 2024), signaling the readiness for this significant industrial meet.

The expo will be spread over 25,000 square meters, featuring innovative machines from countries like the USA, Taiwan, China, Germany, Japan, and Singapore. Moreover, companies from several Indian states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Odisha, totaling 495 firms, will take part.
Organizers expect the event to generate a business turnover of approximately Rs. 800 crore and attract up to 50,000 participants from both national and international levels. The exhibition will showcase live demonstrations of machines from 10 AM to 3 PM for industry professionals and will be open to the public from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Students can gain free entry on June 10th by showing their ID cards from 2 PM onwards, while public entry will be permitted from 2 PM to 5 PM with an entrance fee of Rs. 150. The expo will be officially opened by Dinesh, Chairman of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, and Nandini Rangasamy, CII Southern Region Chairperson. Additionally, an award ceremony is scheduled for June 9th at 6:30 PM, celebrating accomplishments within the industry.
The expo will feature a wide array of products including air compressors, laser cutting machines, automobile parts, engineering tools, and industrial robotics, among others.
