Coimbatore Enhances Export of Engineering Goods to America and Europe with 'Pandit Truck' Service

Every month from Coimbatore, over 80 tons of engineering products like valves and gears are exported to the USA and Europe. The 'Pandit Truck' service has been pivotal in facilitating these international shipments.

Coimbatore: From gears to valves, Coimbatore has become a significant hub for exporting engineering goods. According to airport authorities, more than 80 tons of these specialized items are exported monthly to various Western countries including the USA and Europe through the 'Pandit Truck' service. This initiative is providing a substantial boost to local industries by ensuring their products reach global markets efficiently.

Located at the Coimbatore Airport, the cargo office has become the center for coordinating these shipments. Services by 'Pandit Truck' help in transferring goods overland to other airports like Kochi and Bangalore, where they are then dispatched internationally. Notably, every week, products are also shipped directly along with passengers’ baggage in flights to Sharjah and Singapore, primarily consisting of perishables like food and vegetables.

Authorities highlighted the strategic importance of this transport integration, which compensates for the relatively limited number of direct international flights from Coimbatore. It's reported that significant amounts of various industrial products manufactured in local industries are booked via this service, which is then taken by road to other major airports for their final international journeys.

This streamlined export mechanism via 'Pandit Truck' continues to record steady growth and plays a critical role in the industrial development of CoimbatusreMirroring its commitment to enhancing global connectivity and fostering economic growth.
