Two college students were killed in a road accident after their two-wheeler banged on a Tiber lorry at the Madukkarai - Chettipalayam Junction at around 4:30 pm, today.
Thanga Sivaraman alias Bharath and Nikhil Kumar were the victims of the accident. It is reported both Bharath and Nikil were students are from Amrita University.
Owing to the impact, both the students were thrown off their two-wheeler and sustained severe head injuries. Sadly, Bharath died on the spot while Nikil died on the way to the hospital.
The Chettipalayam police have filed a case and at present the bodies have been recovered and sent to Government Hospital for autopsy.
This gruesome accident claiming the life of two college students shook the public who witnessed the accident and has also sent shock waves to the family victims.
