Over 1000 Devotees Participate in the Flag Hoisting Ceremony at Puliakulam St. Antony's Shrine in Coimbatore

Over 1000 devotees gathered for the ceremonial flag hoisting at Puliakulam St. Antony's Shrine in Coimbatore. The event marked the commencement of the annual feast, set for June 16, 2024.


Coimbatore: The Puliakulam St. Antony's Shrine witnessed a grand flag hoisting event, initiating the celebrations for its upcoming annual feast scheduled on June 16, 2024.



Archpriest John Joseph Stanis led the proceedings, which saw participation from over a thousand devotees, reflecting the community's deep-rooted faith and zeal.



The ceremony is part of a 13-day special religious observance at the shrine, which continues to draw significant participation. Today, the seventh day, saw the flag hoisting, while a series of special events, including the main festival on June 16, are planned. The festival's highlight will be on the final day, with a grand High Mass and a procession led by Archbishop Thomas Aquinas of Coimatore at 10:00 AM.
