Minister Muthusamy Claims AIADMK Fortress in Kongu Region Has Fallen, Credits DMK Leadership

Minister Muthusamy in Coimbatore stated that AIADMK’s stronghold in the Kongu region has been dismantled due to DMK’s strategic leadership and local support in elections.

Coimbatore: During a press briefing held in Coimbatore, Minister Muthusamy remarked on the political shifts in Tamil Nadu, particularly the loss of AIADMK's stronghold in the Kongu region. He attributed this significant change to the efforts of Chief Minister MK Stalin and the DMK party's strategic electoral campaigns.

The upcoming grand celebration on June 15th at Codissia Grounds, Coimbatore, marks a critical juncture for the DMK, following a host of electoral successes, including the historic victory in the 2021 assembly elections and the unanimous wins in the 2024 parliamentary elections. According to Minister Muthusamy, these events demonstrate the overwhelming support the DMK has gained under Stalin’s leadership.

Minister Muthusamy inspected the preparations for the grand celebration in Coimbatore, slated for June 15.

This event aims to honor Chief Minister MK Stalin’s leadership, which has contributed significantly to DMK's victories across various electoral planes. It will also serve as an opportunity to appreciate the support from Tamil Nadu residents and highlight the DMK's gratitude towards the people of Coimbatore and the broader Kongu region.

Minister Muthusamy's statements underline the political shift in Tamil Nadu, emphasizing that the fall of the AIADMK stronghold is a direct result of the strategic alliance and policies implemented by the DMK and the responsive support from the local population. Moreover, the upcoming celebrations are expected to draw large crowds, with managed traffic and organized parking to ensure a smooth flow of attendees.
