Students Take Oath to Fight Child Labour on World Day against Child Labour in Coimbatore

On World Day against Child Labour, students in Coimbatore took an oath in the presence of District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati to eradicate child labour and promote education.



Coimbatore: In observance of the World Day against Child Labour on June 12, several awareness programs were conducted across various locations. 



At the Coimbatore District Collector's office, Kranthi Kumar Pati led a significant event where he emphasized the constitutional right to education for children under the age of 14, pledging never to engage them in any form of labour.



He assured to inspire school attendance and highlighted the necessity to completely abolish child labour in society to transform Tamil Nadu into a state free of child labour. Following his speech, students pledged their commitment to the cause.
