Minister E.V. Velu Inspects Final Phases of Ukkadam Overbridge

On June 14, Minister of Highways and Minor Ports, E.V. Velu, inspected the final stages of the Ukkadam overbridge construction in Coimbatore, accompanied by officials including Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati.


Coimbatore: Highways and Minor Ports Minister, EV Velu visited Coimbatore on June 14 to inspect the final stages of construction at the Ukkadam Flyover, located between Aathupalam and Ukkadam. The inspection aimed to evaluate the progress and quality of the ongoing construction works on this crucial infrastructure project.



Accompanying the minister were Member of Parliament for Nilgiris, A. Raja, Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, and Chief Engineer of Highways Department, Chandrasekaran. The visit underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing the city's infrastructure to accommodate increasing traffic and improve connectivity.
