Masked Gang Armed with Weapons Rampages in Madathukulam at Night, CCTV Footage Goes Viral

Masked individuals armed with machetes, crowbars, and knives terrorized Madathukulam, Tirupur. The gang jumped over walls, burglarized motorcycles, and ransacked homes. Viral CCTV footage captures their careless walk down the street.


Coimorate: In a frightening incident in Madathukulam, Tirupur, a masked gang armed with weapons including machetes, crowbars, and knives was captured on CCTV cameras. During the dead of night, they invaded residential areas within the S.R Layout, terrorizing the neighborhood.


The assailants leaped over walls, stole motorcycles that were parked outside, and forcibly entered homes to steal valuable possessions like money and jewelry. As per the recordings, they casually walked the streets, throwing stones at stray dogs and breaking house locks.




The CCTV footage, which clearly captured the crime, has gone viral on social media platforms, showcasing the brazen nature of the crime and the audacity of the criminals. Residents reported hearing noises of lock-breaking and continuous barking by dogs. One family noticed the masked men wielding weapons from their window but stayed inside for fear of their safety.




Local residents called the emergent police helpline as the thieves attempted to attack with weapons when confronted. Although they managed to escape on two motorcycles, police promptly arrived at the scene, leading a chase that ended when the gang ditched the motorcycles at a crossroad.

The community remains in shock and calls for substantial police action to apprehend the fearless gang to restore safety and peace in the area.
