Tender Coconut Prices Settled at Rs. 16,000 Per Ton in Anaimalai

In Anaimalai Taluk, the price of one ton of tender coconut has been set at Rs. 16,000 as of June 17. This follows a reduction in price from the previous week.

Coimbatore: In a recent update from Anaimalai Taluk, the price of tender coconuts has seen a significant pricing adjustment. Previously marked at a higher rate, the price for one ton of tender coconuts has now been officially set at Rs. 16,000. This new pricing, effective from June 17, marks a decrease in comparison to last week's rates.

The adjustment comes amidst reports of varying coconut quality across different farms in the region, which has influenced market prices. Additionally, Kutti Net coconut, a specific variety from some groves, has also seen a price drop to Rs. 40 per unit, down by one rupee from the previous week. This indicates a broader trend of price stabilization in the local coconut market, providing a clearer cost framework for traders and consumers alike.
