On June 18, a financier's house in Kurinji Nagar, Vadavalli, Coimbatore, was burglarized. Both cash and jewelry were stolen while the house owners were away. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating.
Coimbatore: Sundaram, a 70-year-old financier and resident of Kurinji Nagar, Vadavalli, experienced a shocking burglary at his home. Living with his wife Periyanayagi, Sundaram found their house broken into upon their return on the night of June 18.
After locking their home on June 10 to visit relatives in Karaikudi, they came back to find their front door tampered with and unlocked. Inside, the bureau was open, and jewelry approximately worth 10 sovereigns had been stolen. Additionally, Rs. 19,000 cash kept near a deity’s picture was also taken. Following the incident, Periyanayagi reported the burglary at the Vadavalli police station. The case has been registered, and the police are conducting investigations to catch the culprit.
