Admissions rankings for Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, were released today, June 19. Top scores were achieved by candidates in various categories.
Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore announced the student admission ranking list today, showcasing exceptional performance by students across various disciplines. In a remarkable achievement, four students secured a perfect score of 200 out of 200, thereby clinching the top positions. Additionally, eight students grabbed the second rank.
TNAU offers over ten different undergraduate courses in agriculture and horticulture. This year, the university joined forces with other universities including Tamil Nadu Dr. J Jayalalithaa Fisheries University and Annamalai University to facilitate integrated student applications. The application process for the current academic year concluded on June 12, after which the rankings were prepared and announced.

During the event, Vice-Chancellor Geethalakshmi released the rankings. She noted, "This academic year, we received 33,973 applications. Of these, 29,969 were accepted for ranking. There were 234 applications from former military personnel, 10,053 from government school students, 701 from the sports quota, 84 from differently-abled students, and 1,900 from vocational education students. Rankings were based on the merit scores of applicants."
The top scorers included Divya, Sharmila, Mayuran, and Naveena, all of whom achieved full marks, thus securing their places at the forefront of the admission list.
