Large-Scale Protest Against NEET Exam Conducted in Dharapuram by Communist Party of India

In Dharapuram, a massive protest organized by the Communist Party of India demanded the cancellation of the NEET exam, calls for exemption for Tamil Nadu, and proper investigation into exam irregularities.


Dharapuram: A considerable assembly gathered near the Anna Statue in Dharapuram, spearheaded by the Communist Party of India, voicing fervent opposition against the NEET examination. Led by CPI member Kaliyappan, the protest demanded the outright cancellation of the NEET exam, urging exemptions for Tamil Nadu and permissions for the state to conduct medical admissions independent of the NEET framework this year.

This includes placing the spotlight on alleged irregularities and corruption within the current NEET examination process. Protesters voiced strong demands for an investigation into these malpractices, intending to secure fair academic procedures for medical candidates in Tamil Nadu.
