Coimbatore District Collector Orders Quick Action on 717 Public Grievances

On July 1, at the Coimbatore District Collector's office, during the Public Grievance Day meeting, Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati ordered swift action on 717 petitions presented by the public covering varied requests including welfare assistance and land documents.


Coimbatore: During the Public Grievance Day meeting held at the Coimbatore District Collector's office on July 1, Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati received 717 petitions from the public and directed relevant department officials to take swift action. The grievances included a wide range of issues from elderly welfare assistance to title changes and new family cards.

The collectors' approach aims at expediting the resolution process to enhance public satisfaction. Among the petitions received were 119 requests for free housing, 284 for housing land titles, 11 for employment opportunities, and 303 other miscellaneous requests. Kranthi Kumar Pati emphasized the importance of addressing these requests promptly, ensuring that the concerns of the public are met in a timely manner.
