Various Development Works Carried Out in Ward 1 of Coimbatore Corporation

Ward 1 of Coimbatore Corporation witnessed multiple development activities including water supply inauguration, pipeline laying, and maintenance works on July 4, under the directive of Councilor Karpagam Rajasekharan.


Coimbatore: On July 4, Ward 1 of Coimbatore Corporation saw a flurry of development activities under the directive of Ward Councilor Karpagam Rajasekharan. The day marked the inauguration of a new drinking water supply system from a newly constructed borewell in the Apple Avenue area, which commenced with a ceremonial pooja.

In a significant infrastructure development, the laying of the third Athikadavu project pipeline was carried out from Appanaickanpalayam bus stop to Sabari Garden. The Councilor inspected the work and urged the contractor to complete the project swiftly and safely.



The ward also witnessed comprehensive street light maintenance works throughout its area.



In addition, mosquito fogging operations were conducted in the Lovely Nagar area as part of the ward's health and sanitation initiatives.



Sanitation works were also carried out across the entire ward, demonstrating the corporation's commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the area.



These multifaceted development activities reflect the local administration's efforts to improve infrastructure and living conditions for the residents of Ward 1 in Coimbatore Corporation.
