Inhabitants of Anuparpalayam file petition for land patta

The locals of Anuparpalayam mostly people from the Agricultural Workers Association, filed a petition to the District Collector to provide them with land patta.



'Three years back, The Adi Dravida Welfare Department officers who had come for inspection had promised to hand over the land patta to these people, however, no action was taken. The residents had approached former collector Archana Patnaik; revenue officer, Christuraj and the land allocating officers of Telungupalayam, but they still haven’t received the patta' said the reidents.

Due to lack of rainfall, the livelihood of these inhabitants had further intensified. The members of the Agricultural Workers Association urge authorities to pay heed to their problems and hand over the patta on priority.
