Power Outage Announced for Madhampatti, Thondamuthur, and Devarayapuram Sub-stations Tomorrow

Electricity Board announces power cuts in various areas of Coimbatore on July 9, 2024, from 9 AM to 5 PM due to monthly maintenance works at Madhampatti, Thondamuthur, and Devarayapuram sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced power outages in several areas of Coimbatore district on July 9, 2024, due to monthly maintenance works at three sub-stations. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The affected areas under the Madhampatti sub-station include Madhampatti, Alandurai, Kuppanur, Karadimadai, Poondhi, Semmedu, Theeththipalayam, Perur, Goundanur, Perur Chettipalayam, and Kalampalayam.

Areas serviced by the Thondamuthur sub-station that will experience power cuts are Thondamuthur, Kembanur, Muthipalayam, Kalikanaickenpalayam, Pudhupalayam, Dheenampalayam, Uliyampalayam, Thaliyur, Kulathupalayam, and West Chithiraichavadi.

The Devarayapuram sub-station maintenance will affect power supply in Devarayapuram, Poluvampatti, Viraliyur, Narasipuram, Kaliyannanthur, Puthur, Thennamanallur, Kondayampalayam, and Thendral Nagar.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the scheduled power outage. The Electricity Board assures that power supply will be restored once the maintenance work is completed.
