Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a power outage in areas under the Marudur substation jurisdiction today, July 9, from 9 AM to 4 PM. This interruption in power supply is due to scheduled monthly maintenance work at the substation.
The affected areas include Tholampalayam, Velliyangadu, Seeliyur, Thayanur, Marudur, Chenniyampalayam, Karamadai, Thekkampatti, Sikkarampalayam, Karichippalayam, Kannarapalayam, Kalattiyur, Pujanganur, and M.G. Pudur.
Additionally, the power cut will impact Sukku Coffee Shop area, Samayapuram, Badrakaliyamman Temple area, Nellithurai, Thekkampatti, Nanjaigovindapudur, Kendepalayam, Thottadhasanur, and Devanapuram.
Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the seven-hour power interruption. The TNEB assures that power supply will be restored by 4 PM after the completion of the maintenance work.
