Coimbatore: In a gesture of corporate social responsibility, Everest Industries Limited has donated 75 Indian-style toilet sets to the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation for public use. The donation, valued at Rs. 3.75 lakhs, was handed over to Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS at the Corporation's main office.
Sumitha Padmanabhan Nair, General Manager of Everest Industries Limited, presented the toilet sets, each valued at Rs. 5,000. These facilities are intended for use in various areas within the South Zone of the city, aiming to improve sanitation infrastructure for residents.
The handover ceremony was attended by several officials from both Everest Industries and the Corporation. Factory Manager Giridhar Reddy and Manager Nagaraj represented the company, while Assistant Commissioner (General) Ilangovan and Assistant Engineer Kanagaraj were present on behalf of the Corporation.
