Special Homam and Thirumanjanam Held at Udumalpet Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple in Tirupur

Udumalpet Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple celebrated Sri Chakrathalwar Jayanthi with Maha Sudarshana Homam and special Thirumanjanam over three days, attracting numerous devotees for darshan and blessings.


Tirupur: The Udumalpet Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple in Tirupur district recently concluded a three-day celebration of Sri Chakrathalwar Jayanthi, featuring Maha Sudarshana Homam and special Thirumanjanam rituals.



The temple, which houses deities including Venkatesa Perumal, Andal, Padmavati Thayar, Lakshmi Hayagravar, Chakrathalwar, Yoga Narasimhar, Lakshmi Narasimhar, Dhanvantri, Vishwaksenar, Anjaneya, and Renukadevi Amman, witnessed a significant influx of devotees seeking blessings during this auspicious event.

The festivities commenced on the 12th with Punyaka Vajanam, Vishwaksena Aradhana, and Angura Homam. On the 13th, Kumbasthapanam and the main Homam were performed, culminating in Poornahuti. The final day's program included Navakalasa Visesha Thirumanjanam and Maha Deepaaradhana, drawing large crowds of devotees for a special darshan of the deities.



Throughout the three-day celebration, the temple resonated with spiritual fervor as devotees participated in the various rituals and sought the blessings of the presiding deities. The event not only showcased the rich cultural and religious heritage of the region but also reinforced the temple's significance as a center of devotion and tradition in Udumalpet.
