The Commissioner visited the Coimbatore Dam area in Aandipalayam, from where additional water was being released to Ukkadam Periyakulam through sluices. He personally observed the water release process and evaluated the inflow.

Accompanying the Commissioner were several officials from the Corporation and Public Works Department. Assistant Commissioner (General) Ilangovan, Executive Engineer Karuppasamy, Assistant Executive Engineers Hemalatha and Kanagaraj, and Assistant Engineer Saravanakumar were present during the inspection.

The team also included Public Works Department Assistant Executive Engineer Amsaraj and other Corporation officials. The collective presence of these officials underscores the importance of managing water resources effectively, especially during periods of increased inflow.
