The exercise, organized by the Fire and Rescue Services Department, took place at the Amanalingeswarar Temple and the Panchalinga Falls area, which are popular tourist destinations.
The Amanalingeswarar Temple is situated on the banks of the Palar River at the foot of the hill. The drill focused on rescue operations and precautionary measures to be taken during flood situations.
