Car along with other valuables stolen from a residence in Podanur.


Shah Alam, 43, who resides in Karupaggam Kovil Street, Podanur went with his family to Chennai on the 16th of this month. On returning, he found his front door broken. 13 sovereign of gold, 30,000 cash and 60 grams of silver were found to be missing. The Santro, worth 2 and a ½ Lakhs, parked in front of his house, was stolen as well.

Shah Alam has filed a complaint at the Podanur police station. The forensic department is conducting a finger print analysis to seize the burglars involved in the theft.
