In the Kavetti Layout area of Ward 52, storm water drains were desilted, and overgrown grass was cut and removed. This action aims to improve the drainage system's efficiency, especially during the rainy season.

Similar maintenance activities were conducted in other parts of the ward. In Peelamedu Puthur, sewage waste was cleared from Mariamman Kovil Street and Balan Nagar areas. This effort is expected to enhance sanitation and prevent potential health hazards in these residential areas.
