Govindapuram Railway Gate to Remain Closed for Two Days

Coimbatore: The Govindapuram railway gate, located on the Meenatchipuram railway line near Pollachi in Coimbatore district, will be closed for maintenance for two days.

Railway officials have announced that the gate will be shut from 6 AM on July 26 until 7 PM on July 27. This closure is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work on the railway crossing.

As an alternative route during this period, the public is advised to use the Govindapuram - Periyapodu road. Railway authorities have requested commuters to plan their travel accordingly and use the suggested detour to avoid inconvenience.

The temporary closure of the Govindapuram railway gate is expected to affect local traffic patterns. Residents and frequent travelers through this area are urged to take note of this information and make necessary adjustments to their travel plans for the specified dates.
