Coimbatore: Minister Muthusamy expressed that Senthil Balaji's presence in the upcoming election would have been a strength, and his current imprisonment is not only a disappointment for them but for everyone.

Later, addressing reporters, he spoke about the Chief Minister's initiative for immediate housing approvals for common people. He refuted AIADMK's claim of charging double the fee per square foot, stating, "One should consider how much hassle and expense people would face if the old approval process continued. If there are high charges, the Chief Minister will review it. But there's nothing like that."
