Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi inaugurated a STEM Discovery and Learning Center at Kinathukadavu Government Higher Secondary School near Pollachi, stressing the importance of student collaboration in improving learning outcomes.
Coimbatore: Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and ISRO scientist Mylswamy Annadurai inaugurated a STEM Discovery and Learning Center at the Kinathukadavu Government Higher Secondary School near Pollachi.

The center was established by the American India Foundation.

Addressing the students, Minister Anbil Mahesh emphasized the importance of giving back to society. He stated, "It is our duty to return to society what we have learned. We should not merely think that we have studied, earned, and are doing well. Instead, we should become students who consider what we can do for this society."
The minister highlighted the need for enhanced learning and practical skills. "Continuous lectures can become monotonous. To increase learning ability and practical skills, full cooperation from students is necessary," he said. Anbil Mahesh added that improved learning skills would be beneficial during examinations and stressed that schools should be places where students can resolve their doubts.

The event was attended by various local officials including Kinathukadavu Panchayat President Kathirvel, District Panchayat Councilor Rajan, Kinathukadavu Town DMK Secretary Kanagaraj, and numerous students from the school.
