Pollachi Municipality Chairperson Dines with Primary School Students

Pollachi Municipality Chairperson Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan visited Kumaran Nagar Primary School to inspect the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme implementation and joined students for a meal.


Coimbatore: Pollachi Municipality Chairperson Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan participated in the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme at Kumaran Nagar Primary School in Ward 15 on Thursday morning. The chairperson inspected the implementation of the scheme and joined the students for breakfast.

The breakfast scheme, one of the key initiatives by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, has been launched across schools in the state to provide morning meals to students. Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan visited the school to ensure the proper execution of this program.



After the inspection, the Municipality Chairperson sat with the primary school students and shared the meal with them. This gesture was seen as a way to connect with the young students and personally experience the quality of food being served under the scheme.

Ward 15 Councillor Duraibai and other officials accompanied Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan during her visit to the school. The chairperson's participation in the breakfast program highlights the local administration's commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the state government's welfare schemes at the grassroots level.
