Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan criticizes Rahul Gandhi's comments on BJP leaders and industrialists, calling it disrespectful to the nation. She defends Modi, Shah, Bhagwat, and Doval's achievements.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan issued a statement on July 30, criticizing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's recent remarks in the Lok Sabha. She condemned Gandhi's comments about National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, calling it disrespectful to the nation.
During the budget debate in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi had claimed that a "chakravyuh" (labyrinth) in the shape of a lotus has formed in the 21st century. He alleged that six individuals control this chakravyuh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and industrialists Ambani and Adani.
Vanathi Srinivasan pointed out that Ambani and Adani grew during Congress rule, leaving their criticism to public judgment. She emphasized that Modi, Shah, Bhagwat, and Doval are not fifth-generation heirs like Rahul Gandhi. "They weren't handed MP positions or party leadership on a silver platter. They achieved their positions through hard work and competence," she stated.
The MLA highlighted the challenges faced by Modi and Shah during the Congress-led coalition government from 2004 to 2014. She accused the Congress of misusing government agencies like the Enforcement Directorate and CBI against them, particularly noting attempts to prevent Shah from entering his home state of Gujarat.
Regarding RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Vanathi Srinivasan praised his lifelong dedication to the nation. She criticized Rahul Gandhi for portraying the RSS as an enemy to harvest minority votes, despite the organization's growth despite attempts by Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi to suppress it.
The MLA strongly defended Ajit Doval, describing him as a dedicated servant of the nation for 40 years. She condemned Rahul Gandhi's attempt to humiliate Doval for narrow political gains and minority votes, calling it an unforgivable offense.
Vanathi Srinivasan concluded by asserting that the BJP, which has been breaking the Nehru family's chakravyuh for the past 77 years in independent India, will also break this new chakravyuh of the Sonia family. She expressed confidence that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the nation will remain secure.
