DMK's Youth Wing Membership Drive in Ward 41 of Coimbatore

DMK launched "Youth Wing in Every Home" membership drive in Ward 41 of Coimbatore on July 31. The initiative aims to strengthen Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's leadership by enrolling youth across Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) launched its "Youth Wing in Every Home" membership drive in Ward 41 of Coimbatore on Monday, July 31. This initiative is part of a statewide effort to strengthen the leadership of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, under the guidance of Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development.

N. Karthik, former MLA and DMK Coimbatore Urban District Secretary, inaugurated the membership drive in Ward 41, focusing on the Puthu Kinaru Street area of Papanaickenpalayam. The event was presided over by Parani K. Bagyaraj, the DMK Secretary for the Papanaickenpalayam area.



The membership drive was organized by R. Danapal, the Coimbatore Urban District Youth Wing Organizer, and supervised by Coimbatore Arun, the Deputy Organizer. The initiative aims to enroll youth members across households in the district.

Several prominent DMK leaders and functionaries attended the event, including Urban District Deputy Secretaries Kottai Abbas and Kalpana Senthil, Treasurer S.M.P. Murugan, and General Committee Member Saraswathi Pushparaj. Other attendees included Deivayani Tamilmarai, the Western Zone Chairman of Coimbatore Corporation, and various union secretaries such as Shanmugasundaram, Cable Nithyanandam, and Karate Veeramani.

The event also saw participation from members of various DMK wings, including V. Mani, the organizer of the Weavers' Wing, along with ward councilors, party executives, activists, youth members, and party supporters from the area.

This membership drive is part of DMK's broader strategy to strengthen its youth base and expand its presence at the grassroots level across Tamil Nadu.
