Coimbatore: A groundbreaking ceremony was held today, July 31, for the construction of an Anganwadi center in Alagannan Street, located in Ward 45 of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation. The project, estimated to cost Rs. 30 lakhs, is being implemented under the Namakku Naame scheme.

The event saw the participation of several notable individuals, including representatives from private companies, Coimbatore Corporation official Jenisekar, and Ward 45 Secretary Kannan. The ceremony marked the official commencement of the construction work for the new Anganwadi center, which aims to provide essential services to children and women in the local community.
