Karpagam Nursing College in Coimbatore conducted a National Seminar on Quality Indicators in Nursing on August 1st, 2024. The event saw participation from 17 colleges with over 650 attendees.
Coimbatore: Karpagam Nursing College hosted a National Seminar on Quality Indicators in Nursing on August 1st, 2024. The event, which began at 8:30 AM, saw participation from 17 colleges with over 650 attendees.
The program commenced with a prayer song by the students, followed by a welcome address from R. Sutha, Principal of Karpagam Nursing College.

The seminar was inaugurated by chief guest V. Vijayalakshmi, DMCHO, along with Dr. R. Vasanthakunar, Chairman and Management Trustee, Murugaiah, CEO, and Colonel Dr. Venkatesan, Medical Director of Karpagam Hospital. Sudha from Ramakrishna College of Nursing was appointed as the observer by TNNMC.

The seminar featured sessions by eminent speakers, followed by a poster presentation by 25 students, which was evaluated by the speakers. Post-lunch, nine participants presented scientific papers, which were also evaluated by the speakers.

The event concluded with a valedictory function where certificates were issued to all participating colleges. The National Seminar came to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.

This seminar provided a platform for nursing students and professionals to discuss and learn about quality indicators in nursing, fostering knowledge exchange and professional development in the field.
