MLA A.K. Selvaraj Inspects Tribal Residential School in Pillur Area

Mettupalayam MLA A.K. Selvaraj visited the Government Tribal Residential Primary School in Lower Pillur, Nelithurai Panchayat, to assess the quality of mid-day meals and interact with tribal students.


Coimbatore: Mettupalayam MLA A.K. Selvaraj conducted an inspection at the Government Tribal Residential Primary School in Lower Pillur area of Nelithurai Panchayat, Karamadai Union. The visit focused on assessing the quality of mid-day meals provided to the tribal students and interacting with them to inquire about their well-being.

During his visit, MLA Selvaraj engaged with the tribal students, showing concern for their welfare and examining the nutritional standards of the food served at the school. The legislator's inspection aimed to ensure that the residential school was meeting the needs of the tribal children in the area.



The MLA was accompanied by several local officials and community representatives. Among those present were Karamadai Union Committee President Manimegalai Mahendran, Panchayat Vice President Murugan, L.S. Puram Ravi, and members of the tribal community from the village.

This visit highlights the government's efforts to monitor and improve the educational facilities and nutrition programs for tribal students in remote areas of Coimbatore district.
