Coimbatore: Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, inaugurated a new tar road project worth Rs. 30.79 lakh in M Kumarapalayam Panchayat, Moolanur Panchayat Union, near Dharapuram in Tiruppur district. The Bhoomi Puja ceremony for the road, which will stretch from Ellapatti to Ilanthoppu, took place on Tuesday.
The event was presided over by Kumarapalayam Panchayat President Sellamuthu. Alongside Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, the ceremony was attended by Ila Padmanaban, the Deputy Leader of the Fourth Zone of Tiruppur Corporation and DMK's Southern District Secretary of Tiruppur.

The local residents expressed their happiness over the new road project, which is expected to improve connectivity in the area. The ceremony saw participation from various local officials including Moolanur East Union DMK Secretary Palanisamy, along with other party executives and members of the public.
