Lakshmi, who previously served as IGP of the Armed Forces in Chennai, was appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Tirupur City. After assuming office, she addressed the media, outlining her plans for the city's law enforcement.

"Public safety in Tirupur City will be given utmost importance," Lakshmi stated.
