'Protest temporarily called off' says Ayyakannu.

The farmers' from Tamil Nadu who were protesting poignantly at New Delhi have temporarily called off their protests. CM Edapadi Palanisamy met the farmers' today in New Delhi, and pacified them to withdraw their protest and also assured that the state government would do all that is necessary to facilitate their pleas, and also pressurize the central government on the same.

'Following the request of CM and opposition leader MK Stalin we have decided to temporarily call off the strike. However, if the central government fails to act upon our pleas, we would start afresh with new protests'. said  P. Ayyakannu, who is leading the Tamil Nadu farmers protest in New Delhi.

However, widely moved by the protests the people of Tamil Nadu have been expressing their dis-satisfaction over the central government through social media for paying no heed to the poor farmers' all through the 41 days of protest.
