Horse rescued from drainage hole, residents appreciate efforts of fire service team.

Today at around 2 pm, Sriram, a resident of Bharathi Park, Saibaba witnessed a stray horse tumble into an open drainage.

On seeing the horse struck in the drainage, the resident immediately alerted an animal rescue group in the city. But, all his efforts went futile, as the rescue groups were unequipped to rescue such a big animal like horse.

'As the rescue team could not save the animal, I escalated the issue to the Kavundampalayam fire service Department. A team of 8 members reached the spot in just 10 minutes and rescued the horse by lifting it using ropes" said Sriram.

At last, the horse was rescued safely. The residents of Bharathi Park appreciated the timely efforts of the fire service department.
