Collector Inspects Mayoral Election Preparations at Victoria Hall in Coimbatore

District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran inspected preparations for the indirect mayoral election scheduled for August 6, 2024, at Victoria Hall in Coimbatore Corporation's main office complex.


Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS, and Election Officer/Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran, IAS, conducted an inspection of the preparations for the upcoming indirect mayoral election of Coimbatore Corporation.



The inspection took place on August 5 at the Victoria Hall conference center within the Coimbatore Corporation's main office complex.



The mayoral election is scheduled to be held tomorrow, August 6, 2024. The inspection aimed to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of the election process.



Accompanying the Collector and Commissioner during the inspection were several key officials, including City Chief Engineer Anbazhagan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Saravanakumar, City Deputy Chief Engineer Murugesan, and Assistant Commissioners Usharani (Accounts) and Mohanasundari (Administration). Other Corporation officials were also present during the inspection.
