Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati Honors Medical Team with Certificates in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati awarded certificates to 11 healthcare professionals for their outstanding service under the Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam scheme on August 5, 2024.


Coimbatore: In a ceremony held at the Coimbatore District Collector's office on August 5, 2024, District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS, honored 11 healthcare professionals for their exceptional service under the Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam (Healthcare at Doorstep) scheme. The event marked the fourth anniversary of this public health initiative.



The recognition ceremony was organized by the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Those honored included medical officers, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and female volunteers who have contributed significantly to the success of the Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam program.



Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati personally handed out certificates of appreciation to the awardees, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in bringing healthcare services directly to the people's doorsteps. The event was also attended by District Health Officer Dr. Aruna and District Project Officer Dr. Sindhu, who joined in recognizing the efforts of these healthcare heroes.



The Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam scheme, now in its fourth year, has been instrumental in improving access to healthcare services across Coimbatore district. By honoring these professionals, the district administration aims to motivate and encourage continued excellence in public health service delivery.
