Coimbatore: The Pollachi-Meenkarai National Highway near the Srinivasapuram railway overbridge has been severely damaged due to heavy rains, causing significant inconvenience to motorists. The National Highways Department has now intensified efforts to repair the affected stretches.



The damaged road, riddled with potholes and uneven surfaces, posed a serious risk to vehicle users. Two-wheeler riders, in particular, faced the danger of losing balance and falling off their vehicles while navigating the treacherous road conditions.



Responding to the situation, the National Highways Department has initiated repair work on the damaged portions of the road near the Srinivasapuram railway overbridge. The ongoing maintenance is expected to improve road safety and ease travel for commuters along this busy route.
