Complaint Filed Against Misuse of Licensed Document Writers' Names in Udumalpet

A complaint has been lodged at Udumalpet police station regarding the unauthorized use of licensed document writers' names and office seals. The incident came to light when 11 document writers were summoned to the District Registrar's office.

Coimbatore: In a shocking turn of events, a group of licensed document writers in Udumalpet, Tiruppur district, have filed a complaint with the local police station alleging misuse of their names and office seals by unknown individuals.

The incident came to light when 11 document writers received summons from the Tiruppur District Registrar's office on the 6th of this month, asking them to appear in person on the 19th. The summoned individuals include Loganathan, Muthukumar, Jothilakshmi, Shadrach, Sivasankar, Manivannan, Amulraj, Appadurai, Rajendran, and Gnanasekaran.

Upon inquiring at the Sub-Registrar's office, the document writers were stunned to discover that their names and office addresses had been misused. Unknown persons had apparently created fake office seals and used them to make false allegations against Sub-Registrar Sivakumar. The fraudulent complaints claimed that the Sub-Registrar was demanding excessive bribes and refusing to register documents if not paid.

The imposters had demanded either a transfer of the Sub-Registrar to a different position or department, using the names of these 11 licensed document writers. This unauthorized use of their identities has caused significant distress among the genuine document writers.

In response to this fraudulent activity, the licensed document writers have filed a formal complaint at the Udumalpet police station. They have requested appropriate action against the mysterious individuals who have misused their names and potentially damaged their reputations.

This incident has raised concerns about the security of official seals and the potential for identity theft in government-related documentation processes. The local authorities are expected to investigate the matter thoroughly to prevent such occurrences in the future.
