Over 120 Hindu Makkal Katchi members protested in Coimbatore against attacks on Hindus and demolition of Hindu temples in Bangladesh. The demonstration was led by district general secretary Surya.

Coimbatore: Members of the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) staged a protest in Coimbatore on Wednesday, condemning the attacks on Hindus and the demolition of Hindu temples in Bangladesh. The demonstration, led by HMK district general secretary Surya, saw participation from over 120 party members and supporters.

Arjun Sampath, the founder of the organization, delivered a speech denouncing the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. He emphasized the need for immediate action to protect the rights and safety of the Hindu minority in the neighboring country.

The protest also saw significant participation from women, particularly mothers, who expressed their concern over the deteriorating situation of Hindus in Bangladesh. The demonstrators called for international intervention to safeguard the interests of Hindus and preserve their religious structures in Bangladesh.

The Hindu Makkal Katchi has urged the Indian government to take up this issue diplomatically with Bangladesh and ensure the protection of Hindu minorities and their places of worship. The protest aimed to draw attention to the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh and garner support for their cause.
